All categories of letter mail weighing more than 500 grams and all parcels (except secograms), regardless of weight, are stored at the postal facility after 5 calendar days (20 calendar days for mail marked "Up to Request") from the day of their entry into the postal facility, for each day, the buyer is charged according to the additional service tariffs determined by the postal communication operator, i.e. "Azerpost" LLC. In this case, the day of mailing is not taken into account.

If the postal items cannot be delivered to the recipients the storage periods of postal items are 10 calendar days for express mail items, 7 calendar days for letters marked "Court notice", "By registered mail", 30 calendar days for other items of mail and domestic money transfers, starting from the day after the item arrives at the postal facility, calculated in accordance with the agreements concluded for international money transfers.

If your package (domestic and international) is lost, you should approach the post office concerned if you are the sender, or the post office in your area if you are the recipient, and write an official request. If your request is related to domestic shipping, you will receive a written response within 15 working days, if it is related to international shipping, within 3 months. Please note that complaints about the loss of domestic mail can be submitted within 6 months from the date of receipt of the shipment. International mails are accepted in the manner and time stipulated by UPI acts and bilateral agreements, and the user is informed in writing within 3 months.

The modern sending technology of postal items is based on the principle of assigning a unique postal identifier to registered items upon receipt. By entering postal identifier information into a single accounting and control system at each transit stage, it is possible to track the transit of domestic and international mail via the Internet. At the same time, you can get information about your mail delivery by approaching any post office of "Azerpost" or our "Network" service centers. The 13-character postal identifier is shown as its tracking number on the receipt issued at the time of receipt of postal items.
