The memory of martyr Rashad Ilgar oghlu Rahimov was commemorated on his birthday.

The memory of senior lieutenant Rashad Ilgar oglu Rahimov, an employee of "Azerpost" LLC, who fought heroically in the Patriotic War, was commemorated on his birthday. The grave of our martyr, buried in the 2nd Fakhri Khiyaban (Honorary Alley), was visited by family members, friends and colleagues. Prayers were read for the soul of the martyr, a plant was placed in front of his grave and his dear memory was commemorated with respect. 
     
It should be noted that Rashad Ilgar oghlu Rahimov was born on July 16, 1985 in the city of Tartar.  After graduating from the Higher School in 2006, he voluntarily entered the Training Center of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces and successfully completed the course and received the rank of lieutenant. He served as an officer and a platoon commander. Since 2011, he has been working at "Azerpost" LLC.
 
On November 9, 2020, Rashad Rahimov was heroically martyred in the battles for Shusha. 
 
After his death, he was awarded the medals "For the Fatherland", "For Courage", "For the Liberation of Fuzuli", "For the Liberation of Gubadli" and "For the Liberation of Shusha".
