Cyber - scammers have targeted customers of Azerpost, as well as other citizens.
Recently, a large number of fake messages have been sent to citizens on behalf of "Azerpost", in those messages it is stated that the parcel of the citizens entered the country, but it was not delivered to the apartment due to the incompleteness of the home address, and in the same message a fake link is sent so that the address and other personal data are entered by the citizen.
Even so, citizens, unfortunately, are deceived, enter their personal information, especially regarding the card, and immediately become victims of these fraudsters.
As "Azerpost", we call our citizens to be vigilant, to be sensitive to the messages and links they receive, we especially inform that "Azerpost" does not pay for parcel delivery online and does not require card information belonging to citizens under any circumstances.

FAKE MESSAGE:
Azerpost: Your package has arrived at the warehouse, but it cannot be delivered because the address information is incomplete. Please confirm the address in the link.

REAL MESSAGE:
YOU CAN PICK UP THE PARCEL NO. BB023584438AZ IN YOUR NAME AT THE AZ4700 POST OFFICE BY PRESENTING YOUR ID CARD. AZERPOST
In fake messages, the citizen is redirected to wrong links and is asked to take further steps.
The actual message must contain the 13 – character tracking number of the postal shipment and the index of the post office for delivery.
When citizens receive suspicious messages and notifications related to "Azerpost", we ask them to immediately clarify through the 169 Call center of "Azerpost", as well as social network accounts.
