The project on increasing the socio-economic benefits of remittances in Azerbaijan was implemented with the support of the Development Fund of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the partnership of the State Migration Service.
"Azerpost", including 11 members and 18 institutions as observers (state bodies, banks, NGOs, Azerbaijan Banks Association, Azerbaijan Fintech Association, Azerbaijan representatives of diaspora organizations and UN organizations) participated in the project covering the dates of January 1, 2022 and July 15, 2024.
The project was created to provide access to financial services and encourage the use of digital financial services among Azerbaijani migrants abroad/immigrants in Azerbaijan and participants of remittances on both sides in terms of supporting sustainable livelihood development.
"Azerpost" also contributed to this project by supporting its monitoring and implementation.
