Azerpost LLC successfully continues the co-operation established on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and the Embassy of Japan starting from 2023.
The main objective of the co-operation is to introduce the best examples of postal business established and successful in Japan into the business process of Azerpost.
As part of the co-operation, a meeting was held between senior Post officials and a Japanese delegation from the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
The meeting discussed the possibilities of automating postal transport operations, as well as introducing digital solutions for the rapid fulfilment of postal items.
Further, the Japanese guests visited the Postal Delivery Centre and tested the robots by Toshiba brought to the country.
The introduced robots will minimise human labour, which will lead to the sorting of more parcels in a short period of time and thus improve the quality of service.
Also, as a result of organising the post office activities and speeding up the business process, customer satisfaction will be ensured to a large extent.
