Azerpost LLC presented at the World Urban Forum

The World Urban Forum, which is held every two years in different countries of the world, has become the first global conference on urbanisation, which gathers a wide audience of participants from all over the world to discuss the problems of sustainable urbanisation.

It should be noted that Azerpost LLC was also represented at the 12th World Urban Forum, which was held this year in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.

So, the acting Azerpost Board member Elshan Adigozalov spoke at the event and, referring to the impact of rapid urbanisation on the postal sector, noted: "Azerbaijan is a model country for green energy with bold goals such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating a zero-emission zone by 2050. Through strategic innovation, Azerpost is developing a blueprint for a vision of a sustainable future in the postal sector, along with reducing waste, expanding digital services and building green infrastructure."

It is with a sense of joy that we would like to announce that Azerbaijan will host the next World Urban Forum to be held in 2026.

We are convinced that the steps taken by Azerpost LLC in this direction will contribute to rapid urbanisation and its positive impact on cities, the economy, as well as on climate change - one of the most pressing problems facing the world today.
