On December 26, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia, with the joint cooperation of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the presentation ceremony of the stamp "Heydar Aliyev 100" printed by "Georgia Post" CJSC was held.
Faig Guliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Isi Mustafayev, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Azerpost" LLC, Sitara Huseynova, Head of the Brand Department of "Azerpost" LLC, Sitara Huseynova, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Guram Guramishvili and other officials of the ministry participated at the event held at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia.
Delivering the opening speech, Ambassador Faig Guliyev informed about the role of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the strengthening and development of Azerbaijan-Georgia relations, and noted that friendship and fraternal relations between our countries have developed to a new level as a result of the visionary policy of the great personality.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude to the government of Georgia, which has always supported the organization and holding of the series of events held in Georgia within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".
The ambassador emphasized that the printing of the "Heydar Aliyev 100" postage stamp dedicated to the Great Leader's jubilee in a special edition is a clear example of the attention and respect of the Georgian state and people to the genius Heydar Aliyev.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Guram Guramishvili, said that the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was a close friend of the Georgian people. Thus, the world-famous politician Heydar Aliyev is always remembered with deep respect by the Georgian people. As a result of Heydar Aliyev's hard work, relations between our countries have developed to a new level and strengthened.
Isi Mustafayev, acting as the chairman of the Board of Directors of "Azerpost" LLC, noted that "Azerpost" LLC faces great tasks within the "Year of Heydar Aliyev". Within the framework of "Year of Heydar Aliyev", various events were held in a number of countries, postage stamps were printed. Issuing these stamps is important not only for us, but also for the countries and peoples who know and love the Great Leader. Such measures further strengthen and expand the relations between our peoples.
Then Faig Guliyev, Guram Guramishvili and Isi Mustafayev signed the initial envelopes of the Georgian Post regarding the printing of the "Heydar Aliyev 100" stamp.
